Air-Source Heat Pumps

Electric Heating
- FEATURES
- Moves heat using a refrigerant and coils, much the same way a
refrigerator works.
- In the winter, the heat pump’s outside unit captures heat that exists
naturally in the atmosphere and transfers it to the inside unit, where it
is amplified to warm a home or business.
- In the summer, the process is reversed to remove heat and excess
humidity and provide a cool and comfortable setting.
- Does not rely on the combustion of fuels like oil, propane or natural gas.
- Can deliver up to three times more heat energy compared to the
electrical energy it consumes.
- Some new models produce hot water for the home or business.
